What Is Preventive Medicine?

What Is the SAGE Program?
The SAGE (Screening, Access, and Guidance) program, offered through the Minnesota Department of Health, provides free breast and cervical cancer screenings for eligible women. It’s available to:
- Women ages 40 to 64 for breast cancer screenings
- Women ages 30 to 64 for cervical cancer screenings
- Individuals who are uninsured or underinsured
- Those who meet certain income guidelines
Aslan Health is proud to be a participating SAGE and SagePlus clinic, which means we also help eligible patients with heart health screenings and lifestyle coaching to reduce risk for chronic disease.
