Your

Prayer

Most of all we ask for your prayers. The power of prayer defeats great enemies, encourages the downtrodden, gives energy to the faithful and so much more.  Please add us to your general prayer, but also consider being a prayer warrior for Aslan Health.  Prayer warriors will receive monthly specific requests along with emergency requests via text or email.  I truly believe that someday when the veil is lifted, we will see the massive amounts of prayer warriors holding up this world.

And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. (Luke 10:22)

Your

Expertise

The church (this is you my fellow Christians) is well equip is all aspects of knowledge, skills, and life.  God has sharpened your sword for such a time as this to take those gifts, skills and experiences and serve His children.  Ask God how you can apply your skills to Aslan health, then let us know what he says! This isn’t just limited to medical people; we desire to use your expertise to innovate new ways to serve God’s children.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in various forms (1 Peter 4:10)

Your

Time

We do not take lightly the request for your time. Time is the most precious nonrenewable resource you have and to be on the receiving side of this gift is an honor.

Lobby (classroom) prayer

Our goal is that every aspect of Aslan Health will be covered in prayer.  We strive to have a volunteer prayer on premises during all open hours. We will supply a topic list to get you started; prayer support for staff, the mission, the community, those receiving care, prayer to defend the clinic from the fiery arrows of Satan that seeks to destroy, distract, and harm God’s children

Childcare

Have you ever tried to go to an appointment in a small room with multiple children in tow? It is tough! Aslan health will offer supervision for the children of those that are in a clinic appointment.  This will offer a moment of solitude for caregivers to focus on their health and be fully present and undistracted at their clinic appointments.

Nonmedical volunteers

If you love the idea of serving the underserved and feel drawn to help the mission of Aslan Health we want to know.  The needs are plentiful, and we haven’t even discovered them all yet.  We will be building programs, spreading awareness in the community, building out the building to match clinic needs, etc.

Medical volunteer

Volunteering at Aslan Health is a meaningful way to share your medical expertise.  We are a primary care clinic, and our medical volunteers are a valuable part of providing high quality health care.  We do utilize Medicaid and Medicare, but no other insurances will need to be credentialed for those volunteering in a billable role, not all care will be billable so don’t let that be a limiter.  There are needs for nursing, dietitian, physical therapist, behavior health, and specialty roles.  We at Aslan do not want to limit potential servers by the shallowness of our imaginations, ask God what impact you can have on serving the underserved, and let us know!

Community Health Worker

Members from communities, churches, clubs and neighborhoods that are motivated to help their neighbors be “healthy.” Community health workers (CHWs) are critical to improving individual and community health through their ability to build trust and relationships and deepen communication between patients and clinicians. CHWs have a deep understanding of their communities through lived experience, which makes them uniquely qualified to address social and behavioral determinants of health.  Aslan Health will educate this group of people not only in trajectory of chronic disease but how behavior changes can alter that trajectory.  The Community Health worker will also be an integral part in the tracking of this health improvement with the goal of increasing the length and quality of life of each member of the community. Initially, this will be a volunteer program with plans for it to be developed into a paid position.

Financial

Help

Financial assistance is essential to caring for our neighbors who are often caught in the gap between housing, food security, transportation, and the rising cost of healthcare. At Aslan Health, we exist to help bridge that gap—providing affordable, compassionate, whole-person care rooted in the love of Christ.

We are committed to transparency and good stewardship. Donors may give toward specific needs or trust Aslan Health to apply funds where they are most urgently needed to serve patients and sustain the clinic.

Current Needs

  • Clinic Operations & Patient Care
Supporting daily medical care for uninsured and underinsured patients, including provider time, medical supplies, medications, labs, and charitable care.

  • Basement Build-Out for Clinic Expansion (~$100,000)
We are planning a basement build-out to better meet the growing needs of our patients and expand clinical capacity. This approximately $100,000 project will allow us to serve more individuals with dignity, efficiency, and compassion while maximizing the space God has already provided.

  • Sustainable Growth & Community Outreach
Investing in systems, equipment, and outreach efforts that remove barriers to care and ensure Aslan Health remains accessible and sustainable for years to come.

Your generosity directly impacts lives—helping people receive care, find hope, and experience healing. We are honored to steward every gift faithfully for the glory of God and the good of our community.
