For the past 11 years, she has served as an Advanced Practitioner for Centracare and played an integral role as the founding clinician for Aslan Health. Her commitment to delivering quality, evidence-based health care is surpassed only by her unwavering belief that God's love extends to everyone, without exception.

Beyond her work in health care, Rebecca actively participates in Samaritan's Purse Disaster Response team, responding to crises across the globe. Through this humanitarian work, she brings food, medicine, and other vital assistance to those who are suffering. Rebecca's impact extends even further as she serves as the clinician for The Pregnancy Resource Center medical clinic. Her passion lies in caring for individuals, instilling hope through the privilege of providing health care. She firmly believes in the power of the human body, acknowledging its ability to heal and function with dignity and hope when given the proper environment.

Outside of her professional commitments, Rebecca dedicates her time to homeschooling her daughter, exploring new places through travel, prioritizing her physical well-being through exercise, diving into the world of literature through reading, and cherishing her relationship with her loving husband.

Rebecca's educational journey has been one of continuous growth and development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Minnesota, Morris, an Associate of Science in Nursing from Excelsior College, and a Master of Nursing in Family Medicine from Minnesota State University, Mankato. This comprehensive educational background has equipped her with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in her field.

On the other hand, Clay White, Rebecca's husband, brings a unique perspective to the Aslan Health team. With 20 years of experience as a Deputy Sheriff in Sherburne County, his professional background is marked by a commitment to service and protecting the community. Additionally, he devoted 21 years to serving in the Army National Guard. Clay's passion lies in helping individuals achieve optimal health, and his role as the board chair at Aslan Health allows him to do just that. He wholeheartedly appreciates the unwavering prayers and financial support the organization receives and wants to express his sincere gratitude to all who contribute. The continued support not only enables Aslan Health to thrive but also touches the lives of countless individuals in need.

The start

of the idea.

The idea for Aslan Health Clinic originated from a Ted talk delivered by PJ Parmar titled "How doctors can help low-income patients (and still make a profit)". This thought-provoking talk sparked our interest as we were seeking a shared mission that would allow us to serve the Lord while leveraging our individual skills and strengths.

After watching the Ted talk and earnestly praying about it, we felt a strong calling to pursue this vision. To deepen our understanding and gather insights, we reached out to PJ and arranged to visit his clinic in Colorado during the month of July. This visit proved invaluable, providing us with firsthand experience of a health care model that aligned with our goals.

As we delved further into the development of Aslan Health Clinic, we faced a crucial decision: whether to establish ourselves as a for-profit or a nonprofit organization. Both sides of the debate held equal merit, leaving us uncertain about which direction to take. . Through prayer, we submitted our decision-making process to God, recognizing Him as the true owner of Aslan Health Clinic. Finally, we made the choice through the modern version of drawing lots—flipping a coin.

During our research, we came across Church Health, based in Memphis, TN. Inspired by their work, we decided to model Aslan Health Clinic after their successful approach. To further our understanding and knowledge of their model, we will be attending their replicate conference in March. This conference will provide us with invaluable insights and the opportunity to learn from industry experts who have implemented similar strategies.

With the support and contribution of individuals like you, we aspire to go beyond merely being a medical clinic. Our aim is to become a ministry serving God and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. By combining the best practices from PJ Parmar's Ted talk, Church Health, and our own expertise, we hope to create a health care institution that not only addresses the physical needs of individuals but also provides spiritual support and guidance.

Together, let us embark on this journey to create positive change in the lives of low-income patients, serving them with excellence and compassion while sharing the love of God.
