Aslan, the majestic lion brought to life through the words of C.S. Lewis in his renowned series, The Chronicles of Narnia, is a character that captivates the hearts and minds of readers with his unwavering goodness and graciousness. Through his selfless act of sacrificing himself to save Edmund, a character trapped in a state of hopelessness and despair, Aslan exemplifies the true essence of compassion and redemption. 

I am reminded of the parallels between the noble lion and the work we strive to do in the field of medicine. With over 20 years of experience in medical practice, I have dedicated myself to offering solace and healing to individuals in need. Our mission at Aslan Health is to help those who seek restoration of health and regain their well-being. 

In my work as an apprentice of Jesus, I reflect on the teachings recorded by the physician Luke. This profound message resonates with our work today. Jesus said, “Go and do like wise" (Luke 10:37). These words serve as a guiding principle for our team at Aslan Health, as we strive to provide Kingdom Impacting care for our neighbor.  Who is our neighbor?  

Just as Aslan willingly gave himself up to save Edmund, we too strive to offer ourselves to the care of all people who are longing to reclaim their health. Our clinic serves as a platform to distribute high quality medical care, guidance, and information. Designed to empower individuals and promote whole person well-being. Just as Jesus never separated the gospel from his healing, we believe that humans cannot separate mind, body, and spirit when achieving Health. Aslan’s platform will provide not only medical care but spiritual guidance, support and tools for personal growth.  The quality of our work is the platform for our ministry. 

 The character of Aslan serves as a reminder of the transformative power of compassion and grace found in Jesus Christ.  As we embrace His example, we at Aslan Health endeavor to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. Through our commitment to comprehensive care, we strive to inspire individuals to be active participants in their own well-being. Empowering them to lead fulfilling and healthy lives while pointing to eternal life. 

In conclusion, the lion represents the King: strong and mighty, gentle and compassionate, full of grace and love. At Aslan Health, we draw inspiration from C.S. Lewis’ noble character but most of all through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through our belief that all are valuable and deserve health and our dedication to the greater good we strive to bring justice to the underserved through health.
