As we stand at the threshold of a new year, we at Aslan Health are filled with gratitude and hope. The past year has been an incredible journey of growth, service, and blessings. We opened our doors on August 1, 2024, stepping boldly into our mission of caring for our neighbors with compassion and excellence. Today, we celebrate the milestones achieved in 2024 and look forward to what 2025 holds.
Highlights of 2024:
- Grand Opening and First Steps: This year marked our official opening, where we began serving the uninured community in Saint Cloud, MN. We are humbled by the trust placed in us by our patients and partners.
- Sports Physicals Initiative: Partnering with ISD 742, we provided 50 sports physicals to students, enabling them to participate in athletic programs. This effort removed barriers for uninsured families and strengthened our bond with the local schools.
- Whole Person Care in Action: From providing a 90-day supply of insulin to a young boy with Type 1 diabetes to introducing DOT physicals and extended clinic hours, we’ve made strides in delivering comprehensive and accessible care.
- Faith-Based Mission: With every service, we have sought to demonstrate the love of Christ, whether through providing Spanish Bibles to our patients or partnering with like-minded organizations like the Christian Community Health Fellowship (CCHF).
- Fundraising and Support: Efforts like the Kinder Coffee Labs fundraiser and grants have allowed us to sustain and expand our mission. We’re deeply grateful for the generosity of our community.
Looking Ahead to 2025:
As we step into the new year, we are energized by the vision of expanding our impact:
- Expanding Services: Following the example of Christ and offering palliative foot care, washing feet, trimming nails.
- Community Health Programs: We aim to deepen our Community Health Initiative for Older Adults, offering screenings, preventive care, and support services for those who need it most.
- Continued Partnerships: We will build on our existing collaborations and seek new ones to enhance our ability to serve effectively and faithfully.
- Strengthening Our Team: We remain committed to equipping our staff with the tools and training needed to provide exceptional care while continuing to integrate our core values of compassion, humility, and integrity.
