More Than Medicine: Introducing Pastoral Care at Aslan Health
At Aslan Health, we believe that true healing goes beyond treating physical symptoms. It reaches into the heart, the mind, and the spirit.
That’s why we are excited to share a new offering for our patients: Pastoral Care through volunteer chaplains—available at no cost.
What Is Pastoral Care?
Pastoral care is compassionate, faith-based support that focuses on the spiritual and emotional needs of each person.
It’s a safe space where you can:
- Talk through life challenges
- Share burdens you’ve been carrying
- Receive prayer (if you would like)
- Explore questions about faith, purpose, or hope
- Find encouragement during difficult seasons
Whether you are walking through illness, stress, loss, or uncertainty—you don’t have to do it alone.
Why We Offer It
Aslan Health was founded on a simple but powerful belief:
Whole Person Care matters.
That means caring for:
- The body through medical care
- The mind through support and understanding
- The spirit through the love and truth of Jesus Christ
While we provide high-quality primary care, we also recognize that many of the struggles people face are deeper than physical symptoms alone.
Our volunteer chaplains are here to walk alongside you—offering compassion, listening, and hope grounded in Christ.
Who Is This For?
Pastoral care is available to anyone, regardless of:
- Your background
- Your current beliefs
- Whether you are a patient at Aslan Health
You do not need to have it all figured out. You don’t need to be “religious.”
You simply need to be willing to talk.
What to Expect
Appointments are:
- Confidential
- Free of charge
- Patient-centered and respectful
- Focused on listening, encouragement, and (if desired) prayer
There is no pressure—just support.
