One Year of Healing, Hope, and Impact — Thanks to You

One year ago, Aslan Health opened its doors with a bold mission: to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and to demonstrate His love by providing affordable, quality healthcare to those in need.

Today, we celebrate one full year of serving our neighbors in the St. Cloud area — and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Because of your generosity, we’ve provided care to over 1,200 unique patients in our first year. More than 80% of those we’ve served are completely uninsured, and another 10% are self-pay patients with high-deductible insurance plans that leave them unable to afford routine care. Your support has allowed us to offer compassionate, whole-person healthcare — physical, emotional, and spiritual — to those who otherwise would have gone without.

Let us share just two of the lives you’ve impacted:

Jasmine (name changed for privacy) is a 20-year-old newlywed who had just moved from Alabama to Central Minnesota for her husband’s new job. The transition was difficult. She found herself in a new city without insurance, without a job, and off her depression medication due to financial concerns.
Her mental health declined quickly. After a visit to urgent care, she was given a 30-day supply of medication and told to follow up with a primary care provider — along with a bill she couldn’t afford. Then Jasmine found Aslan Health.
Because of donors like you, we were able to see her for just $75. Through our partnership with Round Table Rx, we provided her depression medication at no cost. Since then, she’s returned for refills, paying only $5 for a 90 day supply. Her depression is now well-managed, and she recently began working at a local grocery store — a job she enjoys and takes pride in.
During her first visit, Jasmine completed a spiritual assessment. She shared that she wasn’t interested in church and had likely experienced hurt or disillusionment in the past. While she may not be ready to engage spiritually, we trust that God is still writing her story — and we will continue to show her the love of Christ through our care.

A Fresh Start — and an Open Door
A young Black man recently walked through our doors. He had just moved to St. Cloud from Minneapolis, hoping for a fresh start after years of hardship and instability. He came to Aslan because he needed paperwork completed to apply for social services through the county.
He was struggling — not just financially, but emotionally. PTSD, anxiety, and depression weighed heavily on him. He had only $50 to his name and hoped it would be enough to cover the visit. When he learned the visit cost $75, we told him not to worry — we’d accept what he could pay and bill the rest later.
During the visit, Rebecca took time to conduct a spiritual assessment. He shared that he had been exploring Islam, but then said something striking: “Your God seems so much nicer than the god of Islam.” That moment opened a door. Rebecca gently spoke with him about Christ and recommended a few local churches. We don’t know where his journey will take him, but we are praying God continues to pursue him, comfort him, and lead him into healing — body, mind, and soul.

In addition to clinical care, your giving has helped us meet critical medication needs. Through our partnership with Round Table Rx, we have provided over 300 prescriptions to patients who could not afford their medications — saving them thousands of dollars and preventing avoidable complications or hospitalizations.

Looking ahead, the need for Aslan Health’s services is expected to grow significantly.

With some employers projecting health insurance premium increases of up to 60% next year, and ongoing changes to Medicaid coverage, many more individuals and families will find themselves without affordable access to care. In addition, recent funding cuts to Planned Parenthood are leaving opportunities in care for women, especially in the areas of family planning and sexual health. In response, Aslan Health is increasing our outreach efforts — particularly among young women — to offer Christ-centered, compassionate care that respects life, honors dignity, and supports whole-person health.

As Aslan becomes better known in the community, we anticipate more than doubling the number of patients we serve in 2026. To meet this growing need, we will rely on your continued prayers, advocacy, and financial support more than ever.

Thank you for believing in this mission. Thank you for making this first year possible.

With deep gratitude,
Clay White
