Model For Healthy Living

A Model for Whole-Person Care

At Aslan Health we know that hope, health, and healing happen when we consider the whole person. That’s why we connect the dots across faith, medicine, movement, work, emotions, nutrition, and friends and family. Whether caring for our patients or reaching out to the community, we hold high the dignity and worth of each person.
This is our Model for Healthy Living, and it recognizes that our lives are complicated. We are better together when we help one another access the quality health care necessary to live with dignity, vitality and joy.
Later down the road it would be nice to have where if you clicked on a tile or category it would take one to a page that went deeper on that subject, but for now this will have to do.

Our Payment Model

Simple, Transparent, and Focused on Care

At Aslan Health, we believe healthcare should be understandable, affordable, and centered on people—not paperwork. That’s why we operate with a low-cost, self-pay care model that puts clarity and access first. Rather than billing multiple insurance plans, we focus on providing high-quality primary care with clear pricing and same-day payment, so patients know the cost of care upfront.

How It Works

  • Low-cost same-day self-pay is our primary payment method
  • Pricing is discussed upfront whenever possible
  • Payment is due at the time of service
  • Itemized receipts are available for patients who wish to submit care to their insurance on their own

Many patients—even those with insurance—choose self-pay because it is often simpler, faster, and more affordable, especially for those with high deductibles or limited coverage.

Insurance & Coverage

Our care model allows us to spend more time with patients and less time on administrative complexity.

  • We accept self-pay
  • We accept straight Medicaid (MA) and Medicare
  • We do not bill commercial insurance plans, Medicaid PMAP plans, or Medicare Advantage plans

Patients with insurance are welcome to self-pay and submit their itemized receipt directly to their insurance provider if they choose.

Financial Accessibility

We are committed to keeping care within reach:

  • Sliding scale and charitable care options may be available when needed
  • Some preventive services and screenings may be available at low or no cost for qualifying patients
  • Our team will explain payment options clearly before care is provided

No one should avoid care because they are unsure what it will cost.

What Patients Appreciate

  • Knowing the cost upfront
  • No surprise bills weeks later
  • Same-day access without insurance barriers
  • Care that is respectful, unhurried, and transparent
