At the heart of Aslan Health’s mission to provide compassionate, whole-person care is our Medical Director, Rebecca White. A Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) and the founding clinician of Aslan Health, Rebecca embodies the spirit of service and excellence that drives our organization forward.
A Journey of Care and Compassion
Rebecca’s path to healthcare began with a love for science and an innate desire to help others. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Minnesota, Morris, followed by an Associate of Science in Nursing from Excelsior College. Her commitment to learning and her passion for family medicine led her to complete her Master of Nursing at Minnesota State University, Mankato, specializing in Family Practice.
For over 11 years, Rebecca honed her skills as an advanced practitioner in family medicine at CentraCare. Her experience spans treating diverse patient populations, offering preventive care, managing chronic conditions, and supporting families in their health journeys.
Passionate About Holistic Healthcare
Rebecca’s approach to medicine goes beyond physical health. She is deeply committed to holistic care, addressing not only the physical but also the emotional and spiritual needs of her patients. Guided by her faith, she believes that every individual deserves healthcare rooted in dignity, respect, and love.
“God’s design for the human body is remarkable,” Rebecca says. “When nurtured in the right environment, the body can heal and thrive. My goal is to create that environment for every patient.”
Her work at Aslan Health reflects this philosophy. Rebecca integrates evidence-based medical practices with compassionate care to ensure patients feel seen, heard, and supported on their journey to wellness.
A Global Perspective
Rebecca’s dedication to service extends beyond her local community. As an active member of the Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Response team, she has traveled the world, providing medical aid, food, and support to those in crisis. Her experiences in disaster response have deepened her commitment to serving the underserved, a cornerstone of Aslan Health’s mission.
A Life Rooted in Faith and Family
When Rebecca isn’t at the clinic or serving on a mission, she dedicates her time to her family and personal pursuits. She homeschools her daughter, enjoys traveling, reading, exercising, and cherishing moments with her husband, Clay White, Aslan Health’s Executive Director.
Her commitment to balancing professional excellence with family life exemplifies the values we hold dear at Aslan Health.
