Faith Like George Müller: Trusting God to Provide for Aslan Health

At Aslan Health, we often reflect on those who’ve walked in great faith before us—and one of our heroes is George Müller.

George Müller was a Christian evangelist and the founder of several orphanages in 19th century England. He cared for over 10,000 orphans during his lifetime, but what made his ministry truly remarkable was how he ran it: he never asked for money. Instead, Müller brought every need before God in prayer. Time and again, God provided—in miraculous and specific ways. Food would arrive just as children sat down at empty tables. Funds would come in for buildings, staff, and daily necessities without appeals or campaigns.

This legacy of trust and dependence on the Lord deeply inspires us at Aslan Health.

We believe this clinic belongs to God. It is His work, and these are His people. Like Müller, we are often reluctant to ask for money—but we are bold in prayer. And just like Müller, we have seen God provide in ways we can’t explain. People we’ve never met have given generously. We don’t know how they found out about us, but we believe the Holy Spirit moved their hearts, and we are incredibly grateful they responded.

Right now, we are praying for:

  • The remaining building loan to be paid off.
  • A Dental Champion to help us launch a dental program for those who cannot afford care.
  • The equipment and staffing needed to provide compassionate dental services.
  • Contracts with insurance providers so we can be reimbursed for caring for Medicaid patients.
  • A Point of Care Ultrasound to better diagnose and serve patients right here at the clinic.

We continue to do our part—to work, to serve, and to steward the resources we have—but we know our ultimate provision comes from above. As George Müller once said:

“The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety.”

We invite you to pray with us. And if you feel led to support Aslan Health, know that your gift is part of a much bigger story—one of faith, healing, and the powerful love of God for His people.
