At Aslan Health, our mission is to eliminate healthcare barriers and provide holistic care to underserved individuals in Central Minnesota. We’re thrilled to share that we’ve applied for the Women’s Health Action Grant, an incredible opportunity to expand our services and make a greater impact in our community.
This funding would allow us to launch restorative dental care at our St. Cloud clinic—a service critically needed by uninsured and underinsured individuals, particularly women, who face significant challenges accessing affordable dental care. Most local dentists do not accept Medical Assistance, leaving many patients to travel over an hour for basic services. Worse, restorative care, like fillings, crowns, and dentures, is often unavailable, forcing individuals to live with pain and compromised oral health. For women, this lack of care impacts confidence, employability, and overall well-being.
Our plan, if awarded the grant, is to create a restorative dental program that empowers individuals to regain their health and confidence, setting them up for brighter futures. And with additional funding, we hope to expand further into underserved areas like Cold Spring and Willmar, opening small, welcoming clinics that reflect our commitment to accessible, personal care.
But this vision doesn’t stop with the grant application. Even if we don’t receive the funding, we remain steadfast in our mission. We are actively seeking donations and alternative funding sources to make restorative dental care a reality for the uninsured in our community. Additionally, we are looking for a dental champion to serve on our Board of Directors and individuals with dental experience to help guide our efforts in bringing these critical services to St. Cloud.
Your support—whether through donations, volunteering, or sharing your expertise—can help us meet this urgent need. Together, we can transform lives, one smile at a time. To learn more or contribute to this important initiative, visit aslanclinic.com or contact us at 320-297-6800.
