October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month—a time dedicated to raising awareness, encouraging prevention, and supporting those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. Why Early Screening Matters
Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women, but when detected early, survival rates improve dramatically. Screenings such as mammograms can catch cancer before symptoms appear, offering the best chance for successful treatment. Unfortunately, many in our community delay or miss screenings due to financial concerns, lack of insurance, or uncertainty about where to turn.

Aslan Health is a Sage Clinic
We are proud to be a participating Sage Clinic through the Minnesota Department of Health’s Sage Program. The Sage Program provides free breast and cervical cancer screenings—including mammograms and Pap tests—to women who qualify. For many, this means access to lifesaving care at no cost.
Through this program, Aslan Health ensures that women in Central Minnesota—especially those who are uninsured, underinsured, or facing financial hardship—receive the preventive care they deserve.
