May is Women’s Health Month—a time to highlight the importance of preventive care for women at every stage of life. At Aslan Health, we’re committed to removing barriers that prevent women from accessing the care they need to stay healthy and strong.
One of the most impactful things you can do for your long-term health is to get regular screenings for cancer and heart disease—two of the leading causes of death for women in the U.S. These screenings save lives by catching illness early, when it’s most treatable.
We’re Here to Help—with Free Screenings
Aslan Health is proud to be a provider for the Minnesota Sage and Sage Plus programs, offering free screenings and support for eligible women. These state-funded programs are designed to serve women who are uninsured or underinsured, making essential health services more accessible.
If you are:
- Age 30–64: You may be eligible for free cervical cancer screenings
- Age 40–64: You may also qualify for free breast cancer and heart health screenings
What is Sage Plus?
The Sage Plus Program is an extension of the Sage cancer screening program, focusing specifically on heart health and lifestyle change support.
If you’re eligible for Sage cancer screenings, you may also qualify for Sage Plus.
Sage Plus includes:
- A comprehensive heart health assessment
- Help identifying your personal risk for heart disease
- Coaching and support for making lifestyle changes like healthy eating, movement, and stress reduction
- Referrals to local resources and programs that help you stay on track
These services are offered at no cost to eligible participants.
